What Books Would You Like to Read?

Reading is one of my most favorite things to do. That’s one of the reasons I included The Reading Salon tele-book club as an offering for Refresh Your Faith. I’m hoping that many of you enjoy reading as much as I do.

With that in mind, what books are you interested in reading and discussing? I’ve selected books for The Reading Salon for April, May and June. I’d love to get your suggestions for Christian, non-fiction or fiction books, that I can include in the line-up for the rest of the year.

5 Minutes of Power

The March/April edition of Today’s Christian Woman magazine suggests a tip I’d like to share with you. Here it is:

“Five minutes can change your whole day for the better. How? Place a Bible by your bedside. When you wake up, before you even get out of bed, flip the Bible open to the middle and read one Psalm. That one Psalm has the power to orient your entire day around God. Try it!”

I’ve added this “5 Minutes of Power” to my daily routine, right before my morning devotion. It’s a great way to get your day started. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
